Did it look similar? with the *I AM YOUR GOD* stuff at the start? If yes, i'm guessing it's a small bit of coding to make the text larger. Not too disimilar to the codes that people put in their name to turn them orange. :)

when you die and you type something it says *DEAD* infront of your text well, these people added *I AM YOUR GOD* and some color and bigger text codes in there Localization files, it is perfically allowed,safe and PB doesnt kick for it.

Well, actually its not allowed, but EA does not care. Yea, you do it by editing the *Dead* text in the English.utxt localisation files.

No dude, he didn't modify his own localization files, notice how only one player shows up like this and that's the problem.

It is (or at least was before 1.4) possible to modify the global.con file to show huge names and in certain colors aswell as bf2cc and this would effect everyone in the game server. It is still possible because one can still see it and this is bannable by punkbuster.

On the topic of your localization file post some servers who run hardcore modification scans actually do detect them and TWL for one encourages their use. Last week a clan mate of mine went into his 2v2 match like this and ended up having to set them back to default because punkbuster wouldn't allow it.
