I really don't get it. Almost every third topic around here contains atleast one or two posts about how karkand I/O isn't anything but nadespamming. It's very uncommon to see the US forced back in spawn. Maybe the first like 5 minutes or so, but eventually US will get a cap somewhere on the map.
For Gods sake just don't run into the middle of it all!!! - Don't know what's going on in the minds of those who does, it's like "hey look, nades! Let's see how long I can survive" meehhh
And for those who ***** about I/O servers only... what is the big frigging deal? Some might say that it ressembles counter-strike. First of all, it's two very different games, and besides if it really did ressemble counter-strike, then hurray! Statistics show that counter-strike is THE most popular multiplayer fps today, so I guess EA is just hoping to make more money, which is great, then they can spend more money on developing new games.
Others might say that I/O atracts statpadders and such. Once again, so frigging what! It's a game, and the main purpose is to be able to sit down and have a good time once in a while. Yeah cheaters and such causes harm, do doubt about that, because they ruin the game for others, but how is that equivalent to having someone running around with his pads out reviewing people constantly. I trully enjoy doing it, once in a while, because it gives a whole new perspective and is actually rather hectic and fun.
My five cents on why I percieve I/O Karkand and Mashtuur as two of the greatest maps in Battlefield 2.
