Re: Okay all you leetsauce soloist...
CLU server indeed is sull of noobs
I joined yesterday and there were people flyin high and sneakin around like it was ranked
every kill ment so much to them
btw hit detection sucks on that server, Ive had so many TV missiles go through a hovering chopper
but anyways scrimming is boring unleas its for fun and practice
btw if people use hacks in ranked servers just to prove they are better, what do you think they will do on an unranked and probably not monitored serverComment

Re: Okay all you leetsauce soloist...
Youre right. A tank needs a minimum of 3 men to be operated. Whereas the controls for both the flight and weapons allow both officers in the chopper to fly and fire.
Soloing is more realistic as a concept than tanking. Take that.
Soloing also requires more input from the player in this game (AKA, takes more skill), so its a perfect base for some PvP competition.
Quit that bitching, ladies.Comment

Re: Okay all you leetsauce soloist...
So instead of playing against people who practice every day to beat and be the best you play with newbs who bought the game last week and will give it up next week in every pub?
That's how 2v2s are played bro, what are they supposed to do, range whore?
That's because its a Virginia server, you live on the other side of the country. Hit me up on xfire and I'll show you how to fix the hit detection.
Not at all, honestly play for half an hour in CLU and you will see that it comes as second nature. I've seen people who could barely take off match my level of skill in under 3 hours.Comment

I mean its unranked, you join to practice ur TVing, I often let people recover from their shot just so they could actually try to dodge me and make it harder to hitThat's how 2v2s are played bro, what are they supposed to do, range whore?

Re: Okay all you leetsauce soloist...
It's impossible to adjust hitboxs without modifying the game. It is however possible to set in game engine commands supported by EA forums which decreases the lag between yourself and other players in a server which is helpful for international and transcontinental play but irrelevent if they live in the same state as you.Comment

Re: Okay all you leetsauce soloist...
Its not really hard, if your good at flying a chopper and good at gunning, all you need to do is combine the two with a couple of clicks. Its just a case of, line up(slightly left of target), press F2, right click and guide as normal. Then recover chopper.
After a few goes you can do it fast. Only think is though, your a sitting duck while guiding a as you have no cotrol of the chopper.
I know im saying the obvious, im just pointing out that it is NOT hard, just a couple of kb/mouse clicks, anyone can do it after a few tries.Comment

Re: Okay all you leetsauce soloist...
It incrases the latency compensation between you and all other players, as I pilot I do this to ensure the enemies shots don't go through me which in turn makes it easier for them to hit me but easier for me to predict where to dodge.
BTW I rarely TV in CLU. Look at my kill points on their stats site, most of the time I am dodging or sneaking timing the set ups. The key is to pretend you have a gunner and set up just as you normally would every 8 seconds and dodge whilst setting up.Comment

Re: Okay all you leetsauce soloist...
yea but cant you also adjust it so its harder for them to hit you?
like if most of ur shots go through them without them even trying to dodge you, does that mean they adjusted their ping so its really hard to hit themComment

Re: Okay all you leetsauce soloist...
Actually if you use the W and S keys watching your torque bar and listening to your rotors cool down with proper timing F2 you can control where your chopper goes and even make it go straight. I think we have all seen my old clan buddie's video here, but this time when he solo chain guns pay attention to the straightness of his tail.
It's a 2 way straight, you can do that but it ****s you up and you can't fly low and all shots from your chopper lag too.
My point is you can always judge the way the game is supposed to work and where they should be hitting by canceling lag but you can never judge lag and where the hitboxes are going to screw up by creating more.
Only the unexpected things get me in this game. Glitches, lag, and noobs who have no clue what they are doing thus impossible to predict. I am always 1 step ahead of my opponent because I know what he is going to do before he does it but if he doesn't even know how can I?Comment

A simple "Aye" will do.
Rofl, and pred I ment 2 way street. Which means everything you do to hurt your opponent in turn hurts you and every thing you do to help your opponent in turn helps yourself because it alters the strength of the internet connection between all players in the server, nothing individually. Its even reguardless and that's why, unlike other game alterations such as HUD dissapearance, it is supported by EA forums and a part of the game engine and not in violation of punkbuster.Comment
