We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
In BF2 main menu go to Options - Audio
1) Make sure you have the proper settings for your sound card or headset
(Select hardware or software)
2) Set sound quality to medium!!! This might help speed up your game a bit and end the CTDs.
3) Do CDs and other audio (mp3) play fine on your system outside of BF2?
4) Do other games play sound fine?
I bet it has to do with your Audio Settings in BF2.
All mp3s and cds and stuff work fine. I'll try doing what you said. But, what I meant by I can't get the background music to work was, I can't get my OWN background music to work.
Is it background music for the main menu or is it load music for a map ?
First of all, you need to have your music converted to *.ogg format. For the menumusic, you define it in your "Mod.desc" file in the root of your mod. For loading music in a map, you cange it in your "..\Info\*.desc" file.
When you look in those files, you will see where to place them as well ;-)
this file will convert a wav file to a OGG correctly for battlefield. to use this you drag the wav file into this program (drag the wav icon to the oggenc icon) it will encode then place the file into the commonclinet.zip
if your looking to change the loading music for vanilla thats a no go 1.41 patch added the common clinet.zip to punkbuster if that is modified in any way it will deny you
A MP3 Will not work in battlefield it will CTD only ogg for loading music and menu music
Ok I still can't get the Loading music for levels to work. The file name is "Strike_at_Karkand_load.ogg " and in the info desc it says "<music> common/sound/menu/music/Strike_at_Karkand_load.ogg </music>". Anyone wanna help?
