We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Im having some CTD issues while loading the second map i get onto while playing PR, it doesnt happen in bf2 so i think it must be a PR problem, any1 got any ideas???
im running windows vista ultimate
AMD 6000+ X2 Processor
2 x Nvida 7900gs in 16x sli with latest drivers,
2 Gb DDR2 667Mhz RAM
320gB Serial ATA HDD
Ways to solve the vast majority of problems with BF2 and PR are in the following 3 points. Just do one step and see if it solves the problem, then move on to the next step, then the next if still not fixed.
1) check your BF2 idsc isn't dirty, majorly scratched or damaged. Possibly download and mount the BF2 mini image (theres two of them going around, try both) in daemon tools or alcohol 120% to see if theres an unseen problem with your cd. the mini image is okay to use Punkbuster wise. Do not use a replacement .exe file.
2) Delete the folder Battlefield2 at c:/documentsandsettings. remove all spyware on pc with Spybot S&D [i]plus[/im] Adaware SE. Defrag your hard drive with something like Diskkepper in "file performance" mode.
3) remove PR, clear the registry with a tool (like Tuneupuitilities), reinstall PR
Anything further than this could suggest failures in your hard drive or operating system, possibly resulting in a need to reformat your pc and reinstall windows, all your software then the game. If using XP then be aware that it does tend to degrade over time, as software that is written badly changes files on your pc.
thanx but ive tryed all of these, my pc is brand new so theres no spyware or old software and did manage to play 3 maps in a row just now until i got the error message bf2.exe has stopped working and it crashed
