    Frame issues upon explosions

I know to a certain degree that when there is an explosion or tank shooting very close to you, everything slows down and you hear the high pitched sound. However I have been experiencing frame issues during this time, my minimap seems to suffer and general movement is jolty. There are no problems with my graphics settings as they are all on low and run fine any other time of a game.

Just curious whether I'm experiencing a problem or if its normal for it to be unplayable when an explosion is near.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Try setting Effects to a lower level under Video options.
