Stat padding is approved by EA OFFICIAL!.

To cut a long story short, I joined a wake server. Spawned as US and flew in a BH to cap a flag at the start of the round. Whilst I'm capping I notice someone already has 20 points and it was increasing.... yes I was on a stat pad server. I thought fvck it I'll cap some flags and get some easy kills. Some pleb starts telling me to stop capping flags and I just ignored him couple of mins later I'm banned. No biggie I thought I've got a screenie and I'll report the server to EA. Check the response....:laugh: :laugh:

I can certainly understand your frustration at being removed from the server you were playing on. However, the Battlefield servers are leased by individuals who have the right to administrate the players on their server as they see fit. This means that they can remove you from the server at any time for a variety of reasons. Electronic Arts does not take action against server administrators for exercising their ability to remove players from the server.

If you would like to continue playing on that server, I would suggest checking their server message to see if there is any means of appealing the removal from the server, either via email or a server forum.

I did reply to that guy asking if he actually bothered looking at the SS I sent, it had the usual 400+points and KDR's of 200-0. I guess they were l33T J-10 pilots.

its possible they are looking into it, the response is about you being kicked / banned, not about the stat padding.
Although i may just be giving you false hope?

There is a variety of things they can ban/kick you from their server, those are the ones that EA approve, it doesn't mean they can kick you for anything.

EA's response addressed only the kick/ban ...I would like to see the screen shot, is there anyone on the current leaderboard on there? EA should at LEAST look into removing the server from being ranked. ...not to mention some stats resets.

I'd rather game developers put their time into preventing and catching cheats, and patching bugs out of the game, than have them chase players who actually think rank matters at all.

Someone else stat padding doesn't affect me at all. I know in my heart, and so do people who play with me, what my skill level is, and what my dedication to teamwork is, I don't need to worry about what my stats say - I help my team win - any way I can.

So let the stat padders stat pad, let them have their illusion. Noone worth their salt cares about your rank in a computer game anyway. If they did, they'd want it on your resume.

I wasn't actually moaning about the kick/ban I was trying to highlight the fact it was a padding server. My closing line was, "what is EA's policy regarding stat pad servers and what action will be taken" automated response or not, the rep didn't even acknowledge the fact it was a stat pad server and advised me to try and seek an unban to resume playing on a stat pad server.

Sure he probably read my subject heading "Banned for capping a flag" yet he still gave me that reply. I dunno I've retired from BF2 now anyway and it happened a few weeks ago so I'm not fussed what happens to the players or server. I just wanted to see if EACS works.

All four of my reports to the EACS or PB's EB have resulted in a either an instant GUID ban with Punkbuster, or a stats reset within two days of reporting.

If you offer good evidence, and a decent eyewitness story, you'll be successful every time.
