2nd hand BF2, Awards/Stats wont save???

Hi,
I just bought a copy of BF2 from Ebay (2nd Hand), playing online with no issues.
However, none of my ribbons/stats etc seem to save to BFHQ, will the CD key only update the original account's stats, or should I be getting them udated too?

the cd key isnt tied to your account, so which ever account u used to get teh awards should be updated. sometimes updating may take a few hours so u mite have to wait

make sure your on a ranked server

Keep in mind that you must also have the latest patch (1.41) installed.

OK, thought I should post my findings for the benefit of others who had the same problem...Basically, I wasn't using the most up-to-date version, after the update, things are running smoothly.

Make sure you finish the rounds you play in ranked servers if you want the points.

If you exit a game mid-round, you can still attain those points if you re-enter the server during the same round in play. The points will be lost once the round is over.

OK, back again!
It was all going so well.....for some reason, the game has ceased to update my stats and rewards, my global score is stuck on 655, and it won't budge!

Is this something which can be remedied??

Look at the forums ffs, they are FULL of news about the STATS NOT UPDATING.
