So with your first unlock thing you get 4 total. You can unlock 2 in BF2 and 2 in BF2 SF? Then for the next you get 4 again? Then after that it's only 2 right?

If you have SF then you get 2 unlocks per rank up.
If you do not then you get 1 unlock per rank up.

If you do not have SF then you can not get the second level of unlocks for every kit, only the first.
If you have SF then you can get the second level of unlocks for every kit.

If you have ranked up before you get SF and then you get SF then you recieve all of the extra unlocks you missed at your next promotion.
After that it is back to the 2 unlocks per rank up.
