    Re: microphone?

Do you have VOIP enabled? Is your mic plugged in right? How high isd the capture/transmit volume?

It shouldn't turn off automatically, what do you mean by that? Does it acctually go "Mute" or just doesn't capture?

      Re: microphone?

You'll have to explain that better, include specs and include more information about the servers to help us.

        ok... ummm

its just as i double click a game to play (eg, wake island, 44/64 etc.) ... it turns off automatically at my sound board (therefore no one can hear me speak), so i have to alt+tab out and click on my soundboard and click mic on button then go back to Bf2. I have to do this every time I play a Bf2 round.

-yes my mics plugged in right and set up properly
        -yes VOIP is enabled
-capture and transmit are both at 100
        -threshold is about 5
        -english voip only

hope thats enough (or the right) info u need?

        cheers

I said specs. Specifications. That's what you call the part of a post where you describe what hardware you are using.
