    I've Given Up

After only 400 or so hours, I've finally called it quits.

    Reasons:
    -I've seen everything
    -I've already been an admin
-I've already been called a hacker
    -I've played every map
    -I've driven every vehicle
    -I've seen hackers

    *I just realized
about 1/4 my TOTAL gaming time was in the helicopter.

There's nothing more, and every round is just the same now.

If anybody wants my account, I am about 1,000 points from ranking up to whatever the 50,000 point rank is.

    Just send me a PM

    farewell to Battlefield 2

    *EDIT

do any of you feel BF2 is getting kind of monotonous as well?

*And if you are wanting my account, be patient. I have been receiving loads of PMs about it.

I'm getting bored of it too.
I won't be playing it much for a while, new house and everything, so it'll take me a while to get Internet sorted.

      Re: I've Given Up

I'm working to get myself a motorcycle, so that will take me away from any possible withdrawal.

But seriously, I've never gotten bored of a game before. But it's like, one day I just suddenly lost all enjoyment in the game.

Same here. Getting kind of 'samey'. And i only have 250 hours.

Plus, me thinks that people are gradually leaving the BF2 community. There was a time when threads would have replies almost straight away (on TBF2), instead now there are 12 hour waits for replies. Servers are becoming less and less populated, its difficult to get people to join clans compared to how many people looked to join a year ago.

Obviously the game is getting old and there will be a time when everyone will eventualy move on.

        Sad yes.

I always do that. Whenever I have gotten to the point I feel I have learned everything there is about something, I get bored and move on to the next challenge. I got to that bored stage about 8 months ago, when the clan I worked with for a year, all went over to playing WoW (which I still don't get). I kept playing Battlefield, because I felt I just started scratching the surface on developing skills and getting good at the game. 8 months later, I am still learning and although I have improved alot, I know I can still get better. I have 1341 hours of play time, have seen alot, but still want to learn and play better. Actually, I have as yet to spend any real time in jets, so I haven't even started to learn those yet. I love the helos, and my IO skills have gotten to the point where that is really fun. Nope, I will be playing this game a long, long time.

Why don't you give the MODs a try. I suggest downloading Desert Conflict

I think people who whore something real hard for a long time find BF2 boring after a while. Try whoring something new, like I did when I started whoring planes and choppers!

Personaly, I like the game, also, it's fun, and it started getting boring, but now with VOIP and good friends who play with you, it's realy fun.

What you're experiencing is what I call:

                          Summer withdrawal.

It is during this special time of the year, when Vitamin D starts to seep into the pores of your skin, and remind you that there is indeed a world outside of your room, with graphics so beautiful, that they make BF2 look 8-bit in comparison.

A time when workers all across the world are stressed due to extra work shifts thanks to increased consumer demands.

A time when school goers are suffering braindrain from long study sessions, and painful final tests.

A time when men are constantly barraged with requests from the female persuasion, thanks to their Incorrigible need for attention during daylight hours, and the extra length of daylight hours extending well into the night.

My only suggestion to you would be to go out and enjoy life to it's fullest during this summer. You can always come back to BF2 when September ends. The game will feel fresh and new to you again.
