hyow to install patches

I got the bf2 patch on a cd and Can't install it, how do I do it?

do I have to uninstall the game first?

i put it in the bf2 folder right?, i cant get on any other servers that I coulkd get on before if you do put it in that folder.

1.41 patch Download that, When done double click it. It should take it a few mins to start working, Don't keep clicking it, and it will automaticly install.

The patches are slow as hell to activate and load up, don't worry, it's normal.

ive opened it on my computer and all it sas is that thing were it says use the appropriate programe to open it with or something why does it do that?

Bogo but with that patch (v1.4) is enought? i mean we dont need to install older version first?

Get EA Link, it's not the best but the speed is very great.
