Lol yeah I do have too much spare time.

Some of the sounds are pretty cool in BF2, so I thought I'd convert a few ogg's to mp3 so you can use as ringtones to annoy the living hell outa people.

Its wierd, if you trawl through the sound folder there are heaps of sounds that werent included. Like the ones for the laser designating that was meant to be included.

Also, how do you get demoted?!

But, awesome ringtones man. That's so cool. I wish I could use them but I can't. I really like the, 'Stop yacking and get off this net' one.

Also, the 'Abandon Ship!' is cool, never heard that before.

Edit - Non Bf2er's would think we are total nerds!!! I love it! Sure beats some loud annoying teeny bopper music ringtone going off behind you in the check-out line at a store.

awesome dude....that kicks ***.....keep this thread alive....i wanna make some ringtones too....my step dad downloaded one a while ago with the loading music, and gunfire and ppl dying in the background...id like to make something like this....

my soundcard came with software where i can record anything thats even playing on the computer....and has a converter too...so i can do jus about anything.....

i have the MEC map loading music as my ringtone now, on my phone, i also have the China load music, and the menu music...

i got the L7 so i can esily transfer from my computer to my phone....


keep this thread alive....sticky even.....and ppl should add their own custom BF2 ringtones to the list....i know im gonna

That was for the rank Sgt Mjr of the corps. IIRC it was given to the highest score/combat/teamwork or something. The rank isn't there any more but it looked quite cool. I think it was a monthly or weekly thing idk it was so long ago.

It's easy guys, just look do a search on .ogg files and it will bring up all the bf2 sound files (there are billions)

To see which ones you want to use you'll need to be able to listen to them. Windows media player works fine but you need to correct codec to play ogg files. Find it here....

Then you need to convert from ogg to mp3 or wav or whatever you want.
I have (ahem) found a great files converter which does everything you need.
