"Your CD-Key is not valid"

Alright here's the deal. I just installed Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit (Spare me the Hype) and re-installed because it kept crashing. (I attributed the instability to the fact I'd originally installed the game in Windows XP Home and then ran it in Vista 64-bit.) After re-installing BF, updated it then ran it. No problems whatsoever till I tried to log into a server. This time I got a dialog box that said my CD-Key was invalid. I've registered it, re-registered it. I've edited my registry, I've re-entered the key a dozen times and still no luck. Any solutions are greatly appreciated.

If all else fails, reinstall. I found that helps.
