Here's hoping it's early June.

If you don't own HL2, you'll be able to play the Mod if you own any game which includes the Source SDK. If you have an ATI graphics card you can get HL2DM for free:

mine did work. i purchased absolutely no steam products, only the free deal and the black box and i can play any HL2 mod. steam automatically downloaded the SDK source tools and installed them the first time i tried to run a mod. ive been playing goldeneye source all this week. unless the only reason mine worked is because the black box gave me day of defeat source but according to the goldeneye source winki you only need to have ONE of the following to play any mod and all ati owners get deathmatch for free:

Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2 Episode One
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
Counter-Strike: Source
Day of Defeat: Source

You got it cause of the black box.
Noone in the world would give out SDK for free so that people could play mods without buying your game.

INs gonna be realistic and difficult as ****, just the way I like it. It`s gonna be ****ing awesome.
