I decided to make a progressive Sniper log, ( I dont know why . It just seemed like fun.) As you may or may not know I have just started BF2.
So i am still a newbie at sniping. my Intro is on the intro thread. i am relegated to Non-Ranked severs atm due to latency isses
Event one. I play on an all big cities server, i am patient and i usually find a good spot, take carefull shots never risky ones, and i stay put cause it seems to take them a while to find me.
First city was Karkland, i am always US forces because of the m24.
I usually start creeping around slowly towards the first flag trying to pick off runners and the team usually grab that flag first. I get to the main square and hole up in the building overlooking the front, on some games there is a flag there but on some games there isnt.
i drop 2 clay in the stairwell and perch on top. most of my kills have been from there. i either snipe creepers poking around the corner looking for armour or other snipers on the tall building to my left. there is a nice pillar in the middle of the roof allowing me to swap sides. i also hide under the trains, and take out people sneaking across the bridge. but that seems to be all i have found on that map that provide action at the moment. if there are better places let me know thanks.
i dont know the names of other maps just yet but i will post them once i am up to date.
