Problem with SF

Every time I try to run SF I get a message after the screen goes black. This is what it says.

mods/bf2/shaders/lighting.fx not found!! _DO_ check your working directory _AND_ sync your shaders folder before calling upon your programmer/GP
(really!)


Then it crashes back to desktop. Please help.

Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2

go there and find the file labled 'Shaders_client' (it should be zipped) and put it in the 'shaders' file, unzip it. Now there should be a file called "shaders client" take them out of that and just put it in the Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2 file and it'll work fine.

I have had this problem before, but I really can't remember how I solved it (I remember though that I didn't do what Bogo suggests).

Try clearing out your cache (found in the BF2 folder in your documents).

And if nothing else helps, look at my sig since this is a very very very very common problem (or has been, at least).

How do I get to Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2? I looked in my Battlefield 2\mods\bf2 folder under My Documents and there was no 'Shaders_client' file.

If there is no shader_client try reinstalling the game.
