Im a newb and was wondering how do i add a clan name in the start up window when i sign on. Please help the ignorant!!!

You need to patch to the latest version which is 1.41. Find it on almost any BF2 related site. Then, in the prefix box, type in your clan name. the prefix box was added in later patches, so if you still have BF2 V1.0, then it won't be available.
