My New pc arrived a few days ago and ive tryed everything to get bf2 to load, but i cant.
its not that the game crashes on startup, or doesnt install, but when trying to load a map in any graphics setting it freezes at about 1/4 loaded, then again at 1/2 then 3/4 and stops there forever, each with about 20 minute intervals,
im running windows vista ultimate
AMD 6000+ X2 Processor
2 x Nvida 7900gs in 16x sli with latest drivers,
2 Gb DDR2 667Mhz RAM
320gB Serial ATA HDD
Shouldnt i get really good loading times with this setup????
I 'm not sure whther its a compatibility problem or not as the game works fine untill i load a map, i have also tryed running the game in compatibility mode with XP SP2 but i get an error saying Please insert cd, even when i run the game from the cd shortcut, i have absolutely no clue, please help me
i get the exact same issue with 2142 so i doubt its a vbad install, any help would be appreciated, im also getting quite a bit of lag in 2142 and bf2 allthough i would have thought that this would have disappeared with this new pc, is this setup good enought for all on high settings?
