    Stalls, as a manuever...

I was just fooling around in a server with jets. I went STRAIGHT up 90 degree angle into the sky on after burners. After i reached the sky... I just went falling... straight down... not out of the borders... not even moving left or right... i was perfectly floating down. it is kinda cool when the chasers follow me at a different angle and they go out of the map... if u wanna try, go STRAIGHT up, use the camera mode for some clarification...

I like to use the F35's under-used ability to stall out of the zone and get back in. Kills those pesky J-10's :).

I spent some time on local servers trying this technique awhile back; it only seems to work IF you can get the jet pointed exactly 90* straight up (if you're off by even a little, you'll spin out of control) and I can't imagine it would do much good as a defensive move with an enemy jet right on your tail; his missiles will get you before you have the necessary speed to ditch them (you might get lucky with a flare drop, assuming you have them at your disposal)

The only situation I could see this maneuver working in is if he's lost sight of you visually and you want to make an escape.. (this just pertains to regular aircraft, the F-35B is an exception)

I avoid enemy aircraft in the F-35B, with a little technique, I'm sure you've heard of it, that is quite popular... Not flying the F-35B.

In an F-35B it doesn't matter where the hell you are, as long as you aren't TOO far out of bounds (and down <400m), you can get back in bounds if you know what you are doing, just by using your afterburners at the right time.

With any other jet, you don't have to go straight up, you just need to hit your afterburners when you're facing towards the boundaries if you go out..

Going straight up in the air.. that's stupid.. it's not even going to help you. Now going straight up into the air and leveling off @ 900 WILL help you, because that is the ceiling of some maps (all ceilings are between 850-950).

I pretty much only fly the f35.

I've been working on a technique: Let off the gas and then point straght up, wait till you're stopped in the air about to fall and jump out then back in. That should break the lock.

No if you bail out of a jet the enemy will still have a lock on it even though you got out... so that won't help.. and there is no way in hell you would have time for that.

^^ Man I can't seem to play like in your video...

If you're going to make another like every more you do say why I want to know, and it could be a sticky for BF2 F35B flying...or something like that :)
