MG36 isnt really good in any situations, id take any other support gun over it.
M249 is the next best support gun next to the RPK.
Chinese support gun is like the m249, except with half the rounds in each clip. It chews through ammo as fast as a G3.
PKM is powerful as hell, but its hard to use in my opinion.
I stick with stock weapons usually. You dont even need bursts for the m249, just timing. Go prone and stop. Wait until the crosshairs stop squeezing, center your target, and fire away, every bullet will hit. Its the fastest gun, best for going on kill streaks in my opinion, just not many know how to use it.
I used the MG36 yesterday after getting killed a lot by that gun (you know that strange one shot kills when on full health).
Anyway, I think the gun is a good option, I liked the sound and the feeling which is very different from RPK or PKM.
And I figured that if you get used to the MG36 you can pwn with it.
