I like Mashtuur City; pretty balanced map.. usually a good fight.

It's better with the armour, heli's and the Hummers/Vodniks. It's just aids in IO.

dude the L85 was MADE for mashtuur. omg rape, 5-1 kdr, and over 100 kills easy on a 64 map, i just refuse to run to top and bottom flags, the middle 4 flags are ok. thats on IO. on vehicles its really fun, depending on side, run to the flag that the ENEMIES tank spawns at, wait till they cap the flag steal their tank the instant in spawns then proceed to rape the $hit out of their team with it, for the rest of the round.

Mashtuur is a great map. I play Insomnia's 24/7 server if I cant get into thier 24/7 Shaq. Mashtuur many times seems hit or miss though, I either do very well or get my *** kicked so bad I punch my desk in anger

I dun' care lol. I just can't stand it. Instant disconnect when it comes up in IO rotation. Everyone goes for Mosque, ends up a nade/clay fest. Just ends up as what team can swarm (with medics) what flag the best. Bleh. The only reason I'll play it is when I use the SVD, even then it's only one round then find another server. However if it comes up in full vehicle rotation, it's one of my faves.

Yes, it's a cool map and I really like it. It's nice for sniping noob snipers (although I might just be a bit ahead of the noob snipers lol).
I play it a lot on IO mode, but that's because I'm a ground pounder and don't like getting killed by a tank ;-)

yeah IO in mastuur = alot of walking and the flags where the helis spawn are just..well no one really goes there unless its one of the last flags

It can be on alot of servers but I have seen some with both gas stations not having flags...so it's just the city to fight over.

It would be kind of fun if there were attack choppers on there but I kinda like it with just transports... kinda different. I also like the general structure of the map...oh and yes...the shiny dome is pretty.

Meh.. I don't like it for an armour map, and it's too wide for real IO, not an air map either .. It should either be a wide airmap or a real close combat IO map..

when you play the smaller version, I think 32 or smaller, its a great IO map because there is just the 4 flags in the center and there are tons of great sniping spots, I always play as sniper on that map

I used to play 24\7 mashtuur alot before, its one of the most beautifull maps

I love the sky on that map

i hate mashtuur....

i think that maps sucks for a few reasons i cant quite think of....i guess because its too open....and to spread out.....and ugly.....and stupid....and dumb.....

It's a ground pounders map and I'm a ground pounder. So I enjoy playing it.

Anyway, Mashtuur is a great map. I guess because I'm an armor whore, I like it. When it's IO, it's kind of lame with all the walking.

If only they put a flag out by the "abandoned" village in the Northeast corner.
