BF2 mods never seem to work.

Ok this is really bugging me.


Whenever I want to play a mod for bf2. They never seem to work. I can get into them, load the map on a server...and it will one of two things..Exit to desktop when verifying client data. Or, tell me my client data is wrong and go back to the server list.


I have tryed uninstalling, reinstalling, uninstalling, removing everything in the registry, reinstalling again...




Also regular BF2 runs fine. ..so

1.6ghz OC to 1.8
7600gs 256mb
1.5gb ddr

Maybe it is stressing the CPU beyond its limits. Run prime95 for a few hours (overnight is best) and see if there are any stability problems. The video card and RAM seek ok, so it is unusual that vBF2 works and mods don't.

Many people have this problem. Usually some kind of stability/IRQ conflict/driver/****ty PC issue. Did you do like I suggested? Couldn't hurt. Try memtest86 to check your RAM too.

dude its not my PC i can tell u that but i do belive that it is somethign wrong with the mod and needs to be fixed

Fine. Don't take my advice. You're the one who asked for help. Make sure that you have BF2 v1.41 installed and make sure that the mod is the current version that the server is running.

you know whats funny i didnt have v1.41 installed so hopefully this will work im installing it right now

dude ge bf2 v 1.41 that will fix all ur problems it worked for me thx
