Patching Failed

I havent been able to play BF2 for over a year now. At first it wasnt so bad because I went back to 1942 and Bf2142 when that came out. But now, all my BF games do not work. :/

Problem for me with BF2 is everytime I try to patch the game it fails very early in the patching. I've reformatted recently and the game installs clean with no errors or anything. I use FlashGet when I down load the patches. Heres what I have done after installing:

-Started up BF2 and logged in real fast to get the game to load resources.
-Downloaded the 1.41 Patch and tried to install but fails at 3% everytime
-Downloaded teh 1.2 patch and all incramentals to 1.4 BUT fails on first 1.2 patch.


I'm getting flustered because i've invested so much money into EA games yet there patches seem to fail for ALL of there games (MoH, BF, Etc.).

Is this problem with just me or soemthing?

Useful, but I cant do the option he suggest by manually replaceing the bad file because I dont know anyone that plays BF2 by me. :/

But I found there error:

Yea, I found out I have bad RAM. Which is part of the reason why patching has failed.

Looks like i've gotta save up to buy 2 new sticks...
