Using the the 'B' & 'C' Radios (VOIP) playing as commander

Hi, this is an awsome forum, please could someone confirm this, I know that the commander communicates with Squard Leaders using the 'C' radio. Does 'B' work for the commander as well?

Using the very well written & helpful Commanders' guide here - Commanders cannot communicate with Squard Members or Lone Wolfs - but I've used 'B' to talk and have seen people reacting to my broadcast information on where the enermy is. Was there an update where the 'B' now works for commanders?

'V' is to talk to all squad leaders; also works when not in commander screen;
'B' is to talk to only selected squad leaders; does not work outside commander screen.

If any squad members or lone wolves reacted to your verbal spotting, it was just pure coincidence. (Perhaps, out of habit, you just manually spotted the enemy and placed a red dot on their mini-map, and that's what they were responding to?)


Edit: 'B' and 'V' are the default keys; if you remapped them, then update the above info accordingly.

Negative.


V is Commander to SL and SL to Commander.
B is for a squad to communicate amongst themselves.

My info refers to "Commander Only" perspective which is what the OP was asking about, and what I stated is correct.

As a commander, "B" speaks to only specified leaders.

Quite often i hear 1/2 of conversations commanders are having with other leaders so i guess they don't really know about "B"

My only problem as commander is sometimes a leader will talk to me, but i don't know what squad he's on so I have to use "V" to respond til i figure it out.
