Map: Kubra Dam.
Team: US.
I join in as the round is almost over.
Basic strategy: if my team has the enemy base, I always choose SpecOps and go for arty and the other commander’s toys, just in case my teammates missed it.
So I spawn at the MEC airfield.
I quickly blow up the Scan. Then I notice this guy. He just got out of an AA vehicle to throw a couple of supplies at me.
“- Thanks”. I say and then I hurry up to Radar.
Guess what. The same guy follows me in his vehicle.
“- Jump in!” He asks.
“- Ok”. Then he transports me all the way to the artillery site.
After the job is done, he replenishes my C4 and we both go separate ways.
How’s that for “support”!?

your thread title makes me think your pissed off at the world of Bf2 and wan't to tell us to avoid a server like 99% of the other threads. nice of him to do that, maybe the round was almost over and seeing's he wasn't gonna get another kill he just settled for supply points, or maybe (GASP) he was trying to help you out. you don't say.... we may never know

Well, That's how the game should be played.
Best way is to have a support SL and Spec Ops and Medic SM if you want to go for assets.
The medic is not that vital if the SL hides well and the Spec Ops can respawn at him.
This tactic might not be welcome by some admins as the could define this tactic as attacking uncap, or even raping the uncap.
But it works just like charm ;-)

Yeah like now that I have xfire and my friends and I play with teamwork Bf2 isn't fun without a 6 man VOIP cooperating squad.

Any1 know a good server where "good" people play?

yea ill never forget when in bf1942 when this guy wanted me to jump into his jeep. after a beautiful drive of the country side looking around i come to look straight and what do i find a German tiger tank then all i remember is boooooom. guy kamikazeed the jeep with me in it the worst part was that he jumped out.

Anyho I had a good run on Oman the other day with a Support guy resupplying me when I was AT (USMC). The two of us kept back the MEC armor for most of that round on the Hotel side of the map. The occasional MEC infantry was cut down by his MG36 :)

Last night I was on Oman and my Squad leader would tell me where to bomb and he'd put a "destroy" marker on it and I would bomb it.

I would get so many infantry kills in that F35B.

Like at Hotel he put a destruction sign near the rail road tracks so I droped there and got 4 kills on infantry...I like that because the always say hacker!!!

So here is a tip, get on VOIP if you're in a jet and ask your SL where he needs close in air suport or bombing

The only problem with that is the majority of commanders i've met with are a tad bit on the selfish side, so they got no teamwork. That's the only problem with that strategy.

2 Bombs and 4 kills isn't that much

If it was an enemy base, I wouldn't get in his vehicle Stealth is more important I think. I would thank him and do my job

there is no teamplay in BF anymore, ever since this reward system was created.
