time limit

I just played a round of IO on Karkand, 40 player server I think and it was like 6 vs 6 for 99% of the round, the thing is the round lasted over 3 full hours

I thought rounds had a time limit, and if not whats the longest round you guys ever played

BTW I was a medic whoring, flag capping killing machine squad leader and ended up with 197 team points and 133 kills for a new high round of 463 WOOT!!

i think i might of done the same...about 2 and a bit hours...only managed to get 428...i think

I think that the time limit means the round won't end until the time is up...if you get 0tickets while the timer is still ticking, it won't be the end until the timer goes out. Ya get me?

And my longest round was around 6hours. Seriously.

Unranked = 4.5 Hours (ClanMatch... 560 Points, 10-15 deaths)
Ranked = 2 Hours (Maybe some more... 328 Points, almost no deaths)

Our clan had to put a time limit on our server after we played for about 2.5 hours.Im pretty sure everyone got a new highest score that evening. I went from a BR of 296 to 411

Longest I've ever been in a round was 2.5 hours as well. It was crazy but everyone was funny and we were having a blast.

Well when bf2 came out some servers changed the ticket count before ROE were in place, so i played on a server with 500 tickets per side and that was a good 5 hours, great stuff.

ok let me ask this question then

if everyone were to spawn at the beginning of the round and just sit there, dont kill anyone, dont cap any flags dont do squat.....how long would it take for the tickets to bleed out in a 300 ticket round?

and as to the question on the time limit.- the server owner decides whether a time limit is set. say its 30 mins. whatever the ticket score at the end of that 30 mins is, thats how the winner is decided.

Yer i forgot the standard time limit but you can change it, i think most servers have it off.

yeah i dont remember seeing a timelimit since the demo

and the longest round ive played was like 3 hours in a moongamers bf2demo server where they took off the timelimit and gave both sides like 1600 tickets

i havent seen a limit in a while, but i believe they are still around.

the longest round that i was a part of was the TBF2 ownage thing a while back, when there were only a few people at D-Valley. that took HOURS.
