VOIP questions.

It doesn't work. The mic gain is on and turned up. Input and Output in both Windows and BF2 are at 100%. I don't know why I can't speak to people. When you push the "V" button to speak, should something appear on the screen letting you know it's active? I haven't seen anything. I heard my squad leader talking yesterday but couldn't respond. Any suggestions?

First of all, VOIP will only work if it is enabled on the server you're playing on. Not all servers have it enabled. Secondly, when you're in a squad - either the squad leader or a squad member. if VOIP is working, when you press the default "B" key you'll see a green speaker icon on the screen if you're talking within the squad. If you're a squad leader talking to the commander (or vice versa) you'll press the default "V" key and a yellow speaker with a star over it will appear.

Thank you! I may be back to this thread though. That sound like something I tried. I spent a whole round trying to figure it out.

in ur server broswer, look for the little headphone icon...that indicate weather voip is enabled on that server

Also, you MUST be either in a squad or commander for VOIP to work .

As Commander you can only talk to Squad Leaders
As Squad Leader , you can talk to your squad members or commander
As Squad member , you can talk to squad leader and squad members.
