Commander speech

Where does the "your the finest squad I have ever lied my eyes on" which the commander can say come from? I have looked at what speech is available but cant find it/

Do you want to say it in game?

If so...

Right click on the squad, and click Commend Squad.

Yeah I hate when a commander says that to me...cause when they do they bash it out 30 times.

And even though my sqaud just capped all flags...the commander is pissed because we didn't follow (most) of his orders...

The best Commander I had was N2K or R2k or something like that, I don't know his name just the clan tag.

Any1 know of a good server where people play using teamowrk?

Kind of ironic that you ask that when you just admitted that you prefer to do your own thing rather than follow your commander's orders. :laugh:

I command quite a bit, but never use the negative button to insult the team/squad. We're all at the same side and want all to win. Even if they're not following orders, we still all want the best!
When I scan for enemies, spot them, and squad kills them (or I use arty),
I will push commend the squad (hopefully GO SQUAD GO) to let them know they can get safe to the flag.

When a commander gives Bs and doesn't realize what I'm doing is better then I disobeÿ!

But if it's a good order I send half my squad to do that and the other two come with me.

It is really a matter of communication. When I'm squad leader and going for a flag I always voip the commander what I'm doing. When I have a nice commander I get UAV on the mentioned flag.

As commander I give UAV on important battle areas or flags that will be taken by squads. After a scan I inform my squads where enemies are located - mostly lone wolfs going for flags or enemies defending (like snipers on the karkand square roof.
Always keep in mind that the squads can only see red dots on their mini map and can only estimate a rough direction, so a better description where the enemy is located might be very useful.

When I hear the Commander use the Rebuke it's pretty much a given they're idiots and I ignore them from then on. I was playing a round of Warlord the other day and I was defending the ONLY flag we had left (2nd floor Palace) and our Commander tells me to go attack the Insurgent Hideout halfway across the map. I decline and he rebukes me. :shakehead

I never listen to the commanders in vanilla bf2..totally pointless as they are about as clueless as a blind cs player, hence the pointless orders .

I wish their was on option to turn off the random commander speech that happens in game, ie. "We're losing, fight or I'll find someone who can". After hearing that the hundredth time (probably thousandth), it gets pretty annoying, especially since he seems to say it randomly - and your team is WINNING :/
