Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
I just recently started having some mild concerns about QW. Mostly because I am concerned about map sizes and area's of conflicts. I'm going to have to see what it is like when/if I get the beta test. But I wonder if it is going to be as fast pace as BF2. Q3 was hella fast back in the day!
I hope I am not disappointed. Because I don't want to end up a general in BF2 just because I am not having as much fun in QW.
We'll see though, it is kinda early to tell, because word on the street is limited. I still have a lot of faith in my boys at Id and Splash Damage.
I just realized that there could be a skybox boundary around the map. That would really suck, it's one of the things that made me not like Tribes:Vengeance, it might seem like a minor detail but the ability to go beyond the map boundaries makes the map seem that much larger.
QW should be more focused than BF2 is, so you can get to the action and start fighting quickly. But I hope there is still at least some sandbox feel.
As I see it, Quake (going by previous games) is fast paced and twitchy - essentially, bunnyhop around the map and open fire on everything that moves. No intelligence required.
Never a good idea to judge a game by just videos though. I'm planning to buy it to see what it's like, certainly does look promising :)
All i'm saying is it doesnt look creative at all. You fix things with a needle nose pliers? (not saying a wrench is any better). Still, theres something resembleling a mech, some choppers, and just a bunch of weird guns. I just dont get why people are saying its gonna be better other than the fact that its a new game. But whatever, to each his own.
Rocket as for the maps, people dispersing around should not happen, there is a frontline system where the objective that needs to be completed has to be done before another task can be undertaken and this creates a natural frontline for the combat.
I suggest watching the first (gameplay) part of this video and it should put your mind at rest.

It may be a Quake title but ET players are going to be more tuned to the game play, it is no where near as much as a twitch game as much as any of the Quakes are.

It had best be a twitch game, with quickscoping for the snipers and all.
That's probably the most annoying difference between BF2 and other games, the pace is too f*cking slow.
Can`t wait for it, and I hope it will be fast paced like Quake 2/3, ET were.
I hope bunnyhopping and all that will be in there, it`s a part of Quake and ET and should be in, but if not then no biggie.
