Multiple People watching one Battlerecorder file

    Hello all,

Just wanted to know if it's possible for two or more people can watch the exact same battlerecorder file at the same time?

Yes, I think you download the BR-file to your comp. so you really see it on your comp and not on the server. But I may be wrong...

No you're right m8y . BR files are downloaded from a remote server and watched locally on your PC , not streamed.

          That's an idea...

          1. Is there a video converter. I don't have Fraps (full version) so I don't know how to make a video file out of it.

          2. Is there a program that will let multiple people watch the same video at the same time?

            Bradley was wrong cwv.

BR files are not movie files, you can't 'convert' them, so to speak. You have to use something like Fraps or Gamecam.

TFS: BR files are downloaded from a remote server and watched locally on your PC , not streamed.

most of you guys are wrong....
br FILES are files, you dl them onto your comp {C:\Documents and Settings\family pc\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default\demos} and then play them using bf2. and its true that they aren't movie files, obviously because you can move the camera around. what you can do, is save your camera movements into a .cam file (i think thats the extension) and then render that .cam file with the br file and youll end up with a .avi. however, you need a program to do this (there are some command promp lines that you can enter, but this program does it for you). i dont remember the name of the program and i uninstalled it a few months ago. There is one issue with it that might have been resolved in later releases. when you run it, it changes one of the core bf2 files so if you try to play afterwords, you will get a modified content message. Everytime you run the program, you have to copy that file so you can replace the messed up version after you run it... otherwise you have to reinstall.

I think if you read the posts properly you'll find that 1 person asked a question , 1 was wrong and 2 of us were right . That doesn't make most of us wrong .

To make a movie you can just download the BR file using BF2 and then as Prot says , you can play it back and capture it using FRAPS . A helluva lot easier than the muppet method you describe.

                  simple answer

no you cant watch them at the same time using two different PCs, when I say at the same time I mean both of you controlling one same BR file as if you were in one same server and playing the game

Yes you can if you were both in the same server for that round. The file is downloaded to your PC from which time the server has nothing else to do with it as it is then a local file.

yes I know how BR files are downloaded and all that but I dont think u understand what Im saying

                      its hard to explain

lets say that BR file is a server ok, we cant connect to it at the same time and be in it at the same time, I think thats what he was trying to ask

Soz matey . I see where you're coming from . If that's the case then you're right . It's not possible for the same file to be controlled by 1 person and for that persons BR file to be viewed by someone on a different PC at the same time.

You can send your friend or whoever the file so they can watch it also but im not sure about doing it simultaneously

                            Battle Launcher maybe?

And you can reset the settings rather easily. And that's only if you remove nametags and such.

You mean, 1 person controlling the camera from one PC, and someone somewhere else watching exactly what the other person sees.

I get what you're saying. Cause I'm amazing.
