Got noob server?

Hi to all,
i was wondering if there is a server for new players. it's really borring to have a 17 deathstrk. . they kill me in chopper, they kill me in tanks they kill me on foot, they kill me everywhere. (i'm afraid even off-line:p )

not in the days of global points, any half skilled player would find kills easy meaning better stats at the expense of others, my advise is to stay in a good squad, follow skilled players around to see their movements and actions and then create a new nick when you feel you can hold your own, which is what i should have done. most important skill of BF2, PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS, check map often, constantly look over your shoulder and all around, never stay stationary at a flag, if someone throws a grenade while your capping a flag MOVE, pick the appropriate kit for your situation, know when jumping into a fight will = death, instead of trying to take on a squad of guys capping your flag throw a few nades to loosen them up etc etc, following a good squad you will learn all these tactics and then some.

Just search "n00b" under "server name" and you'll find alot.

did you write that book about ''art of war''?. Now THAT was strategy guide for BF2
but i'm not even fast enough to say sorry when i roadkill some1 ,

u can try the demo which usually has ppl who have just started bf2. its only a tiny bit different than bf2 now, but somehow im always going on killin sprees in the demo

and also in my own experience (well wtih cs) serverss with like "noobs play here" usually have a lot of good ppl looking to get some easy kills...so watch out for that

Dude the problem is you suck, i would say give it time but i fear well you really do suck..so just try single player for a bit or go to a IO server full of skill less stat whores

you dont wanna go to a n00b server....unless you want to practice being a n00b....i recomend going to a decent clan server (with vehicles) that use teamwork and VOIP so you can practice with skillfull team players and get the real BF2 experience...

trust me, its better to learn in the difficult (real) battlefield environment, then if you happen to stumble into the noob-friendly IO version it would be a cakewalk and you could do it blindfolded

so ya, dont sell yourself short playing the the crappy IO servers where your learning is limmitted and you never learn to adapt to all the challenges and threats of the real version of BF2

so jus stick it out and ull get better before you realise....then if you want, you can create a new account and your stats will be so much better

I have to agree with these folks. Just play the game on a good server with a good squad using communication and try to stay aware of your situation.

This game has a wicked learning curve. 50,000 points later, and I'm still suffering from my first couple weeks/months playing (at least, in terms of stats). The key is to not even care about stats, and play for fun. What else costs $50 and gives you hundreds of hours of entertainment?
