G11 keyboard + Battlefield 2

Hey all!

So anyway I've had this cool keyboard for awhile now (since I got this PC).

And on the left as you can see, there are "G" keys.



So I am wondering what they do.

And how they would work for BF2.

Oh, Bradley they are Macro keys mate, you can program them using the doodaa that came with the keyboard, or you can do it ingame :)

I can't believe that there are actually people out there that are this stupid.....the first two posts that I click on today when I get on the forums are asking the dumbest questions possible.

If you don't know what those keys are, how to use them, or how to google search to find out yourself, then you might as well just throw away the keyboard and buy one of these:

Gee, I'd better trash my keyboard that sure looks cooler!!

Now, I asked for help, I asked nicely, I know they are Macro keys, but how could I use them in BF2? Like would I just press the botton and my guy says something every1 can hear?

So stick your dumb comments somewhere else.

And Kindly answer my nicely asked question.

Well you can program the keys so e.g. that you want to jump out of a plane and open your parachute, the combination for that is : Jump out "E" open your parachute "9" Then you can program so that you e.g. push the G1 key it will then do the combination.
You can program them in game or in windows, i recommend that you use in game because you then can see what you are pushing.

Well now for how to do it. Just push the "MR" button and then the combination you want it to perform. That it no more :shock:

If I was you I would have choose the G15 keyboard (Hummm oh yea i have the G15 :p ) insted of G11 because the G15 have a LCD where you can see you state while you are playing, but hey it you choose.

And a last Q for you. Why did you buy a keyboard that you don't know how to use ??????

why did I buy it? Ummm, it's a pretty keyboard....its for gaming...and when I knew what the keys did I bought it...but now I forgot...I've been experimenting...and so far I'm starting to figure things out.



Oh and the reason I didn't read the "help" botton is because this s*!t is in french...so I'm trying to get this down...lol

G15 > G11 obviously. lcd is retardedly cool once you figure out the programs you can run with it. the Bf2 program is s fun, and shows you alot more than Bf2 could ever. perhaps you should read the simple documentation that came with the Cd on how to Use the macro keys, they are pretty simple but the G11 disc would have come with a how too. oh and BTW WHY THE HELL DID YOU NOT GOOGLE OR EVEN YAHOO THE INFO, LIKE 10 MILLION SITES WOULD HAVE SHOWN YOU HOW. fukk people.

even the logitech software that comes with the keyboard gives you the tools for creating macros... well it did with my g15, but i dont use them their a cheap tactic :p
