    Screwed my Resolution Up

    Hi,

    I was testing different resolutions, and I made it 1600x1200, but since then, whenever I try to play I get the message:

    "Cannot display this video mode"

    How do I make it so BF2 loads in like 800x600?

    Thanks. :)

        if he deletes the folder i have posted this will correct the issue, hence delete all the settings he has made with BF2. What script are you on about?!!

          Or you could open it up in notepad and change the 1600x1200 to 800x600...

            Go to c:\Documents and settings\your name\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001 (or whatever your profile number is - depends how many usernames you have);
            Open with Notepad video.con file and change

            VideoSettings.setResolution 1600x1200@60Hz

            to 800x600@60Hz (Hz depends of your monitor of cource).

              yeah, do that. dont delete the profiles folder, you'll have to retrieve your account and you'll lose all your control settings and stuff.
