Messed up

Right, as i was getting annoyed of having to keep puting the disk in to play the game, i got the 1.41 no cd patch.

But now i have done that no servers show up.

Could someone pm me and host the real 1.41 bf2.exe please?

That'll teach you to use unapproved patches huh. Now you may have to re-install the game from disk because you overwrote something important in BF2.exe probably. The official EA BF2 patch 1.41 may not repair BF2.exe where your ***** patch changed it.

you didn't need to... and there are a few working no cd patches, I'm currently using one since my original disks are so scratched up from loaning them to someone.

Edit- I could understand wanting a free CD drive while not playing BF2...but when you're playing the game, does it really matter? Why would you need a free CD drive while you're playing? Is it that important to burn a media disk while in game? I didn't know it was such a luxury to have 2 disc drives. I just leave my SF disc in one drive and bingo bango, got another disk drive free. Just for piece of mind. Cause I can't live knowing that Im playing BF2 with the disc in the drive like it's supposed to be. Oh noez.

god forbid someone did something with their game or own system without running it by your almighty reserve of knowledge.

not everyone has two drives have you ever thought of that?

next assuming you are able to read above a 2nd grade level you will see above WHY i use the no cd
