Wont Install

When I try to run the installation file it starts up and then the following pops up:
"The current version of the application could not be determined. The setup will now terminate."

How can I fix this?

I had the game on my PC before and I met the requirements perfectly.

how did u uninstall? make sure u had uninstalled completely and then retry again

Well I reformatted my drive a while back right after I quit and never bothered to reinstall. So I know its not on my PC any more.

EDIT: Alright well I had to call EA but I had to go into common files and rename my InstallSheild folder.
