Gee thanks for the unlocks....

A couple nights ago I installed SF and played a bit. As I disconnected from the server, BF2 started giving me unlock after unlock.

Each time I chose one, it'd start over and ask me what unlock I wanted.

So I selected a few different guns and it finally stopped.

I reconnected to a server to see if I had my unlocks yet but I didn't have them....I haven't checked again since.

Thing is... I'm only at Gunnery Sergeant here and theres no reason why it should have done that... I mean... I didn't even rank up in the first place.

I think you get 2 unlocks every time you rank if you have SF. Thats what happened to me anyways, installed BF2 and SF and I was getting 2 unlocks everytime I ranked up.


As to why your unlocks didn't show up - if your playing on a SF server you will not get to choose from as many unlocks. example - if your SAS your already using the L9 and your next choice is the M95. There is no M24 because your not USMC and thats BF2.

If you were on a BF2 server or SF, it could also be lag. I'm sure you'll see them next time, especially if your on a BF2 server.

Well thats the thing... I didn't even rank up at all! I'm still at Gunnery Sergeant and then it just randomly gave me like 4 unlocks.

That's whats wierd about it.

Again... I didn't even rank up, go ahead and look at my stats... I really shouldn't have those unlocks.

Did you just buy SF, and play on a server? Cause it gives you the unlocks that you should get in previous ranks then

Yes you should.

You get the unlocks regardless of whether you rank up or not.

As long as you play a round of SF, you will get unlocks.

SF unlcosk can only be used in vBF2.

lol..u get 2x the unlocks compared to someone without SF. thats so u can get all ur unlocks by sgt maj instead of having to rank up for each one and then finally get ur last unlock when ur a colonel or something

I've pretty much played every BF2 gun ever (yes Flashbang), and I don't have Special Forces. Hooray for the G key.

I don't use unlocks much...

And yes...you should recieve more unlocks...
