I am going to keep saying this on every thread until you guys get it through your heads so get used to it.

You need to start playing the mods. If you have not tried them out you have absolutely no idea what you’re missing out on.

It is like getting a brand new kick *** game for free so for all you cheap bastards it won't cost you a cent.

I never so much hated the game of 2142, as I hated the maps.

I played 2142 since december or so. Now I'm playing BF2 again, and it's awsome. Wish I didn't let my little brother play so much because he ruined my stats

For all the hate BF2142 gets around these forums, which hardly surprises me, it actually does alot of things better than BF2 and in terms of pure gameplay I'd say it's the better game. However, the setting and maps are more appealing for me in BF2. Basically, if they could combine the two games, you would have the best Battlefield game so far.

Been Sgt Major for 5 months cause I haven't played BF2 in a looong time, it's lost a lot of its shine. The past few weeks I was playing it though, pretty nice.

Funny but recently I reinstalled STEAM/ CS SOURCE/DAY OF DEFEAT SOURCE, just to see what's like now...30 minutes later I was back playing BF2

I've never been in love with BF2 to start with. Now I just play it until I start feeling my blood pressure rise (inept team, bunnyhopping snipers, spawn camping APCs, teamstacked air forces, teamkillers, lag, lag, lag, etc) - Usually around 30 mins or so.

So not much life in BF2 left for me. I'm seriously looking at other games. Hurry the hell up and offer us an alternative to BF2.

Counterstrike still has the all-time hours I've played any game, though I"m good and sick of that game as well after having played it for 7 years.

I never played 2142 but about 6 months ago I snapped by CD in half to stop playing while I studied for my CPA. Now that its over and I've caught up on my work, I ran out and bought the BF2 and SF combo. I can't wait to get home and not sleep tonight. It'll be interesting to see if I still remember how to play.

I never stopped playing BF2 but for some reason people seem to be alot nicer and I get alot less lagg... But I'm not complaining :)
