As have I. My connection was screwed up for about 9 months, and my job was taking up all of my time. I got a better connection, and a better job, then started playing again.

Fun all over. One of my fave things to do after a long night shift.

And what is with the constant hating on 2142? It had a better unlock system, better classes, and better squad play.

Unlocks just made everyone point whore even more, classes are not better, they just cut out the ones no-one used in BF2/combined those kits with other kits. Squad play is also the same as BF2's. Now, did you see the terrible cone of fire in BF2142? thats why we bash it, the game is made so noob friendly it is sad.

I did last night, all it took was a few changes in options and it feels like a whole new game, everything looks and sounds different it runs much faster, I was actually gunna make a thread about my changes since it was that much of a difference buuut this thread saves me of that.

I never really left BF2, but there was a time I played 2142 a lot more than BF2.

The latest patch (2142) really shook up the gameplay, and I have yet to get a chance to play (video card :X)

i fell in love with BF2 in Dec. of 05 when i got it, and we havent had any issues.....im still in love with it

i had a good month that i dodn't realy play it

now i am right back in the swing of things, especially since i've ahd alot of awards to be going for to keep me busy :)
