So on Sunday I get the in game message that I have received the Ground Defense Badge yet it never showed up in BFHQ... last night I finally managed 20 kills IAR for Vet Assault and that has shown up already... any ideas on the GDB? I notice in the requirements it mentions mounted machine gun and TOW... does that mean 5 minutes in either or both for a total of 10 minutes? I already have the ribbon...

you can do it on either of them aslong as you have 10 min on a ground defence. -

Just go commander, sit in the Ground Defense / Air Defense sites and all your kills with artillery will count towards the kill requirements for those badges and ribbons.Comment

Its very common for any awards or stats gained on the weekend to take a while to show up in bfhq. EA's stats servers are very slow on the weekends due to the number of people that play on weekends. give it another 24hrs and it should show up.Originally posted by KGB5050"Crunch's First Officer"

I guess what baffles me is the fact that the Vet assault badge showed last night... looking at some sights about the badge they all mention only needing 5 minutes in either a TOW or machine gun...Comment

I think its just lag though in any case. I got Vet heli 3x in one night. Then again, thats easier to get then that grnd d badge.

It was a ranked server and I did that Dave... played Karkand and I was in a machine gun at one of the forward spawn sites... I was not in for 5 straight minutes as I had to maneuver around the MEC hoard... but I got in game notification for the badge... guess I will do it again tonight...Comment

did you complete the round, and even load the next map to be safe?. if server crashes, no pts and no awards, if you get kicked or generally leave server pts count but medals/ribbons/badges do not as longer as the server finished the round, sometimes (mostly on weekends) you just simply won't get the award due to too much crap for the stats servers to process, best bet is to try to get it again, it may show up beforehand but sometimes you just won't get it until you try againComment

It takes time for the stat servers to update (that is the most said sentence on this forum). If it doesn't show up after like a week then you have to get it again.Comment
