Chopper Question

Everytime I am soloing in the chopper, and i switch to the gunner seat, my chopper turns to the right and screws up my TV shot. Does anyone know how to fix this,/ tips to keep it straight. and also i have seen people pan from left to right in the pilot seat, does anyone know how do that?

Learn to switch faster.

F2 followed by right-click and repeated left clicks doesn't take very long to accomplish. Also, your heli will auto-rotate, so either give yourself some breathing room by being slightly left of your target prior to switching, or... learn to switch faster.

The helicopter is meant to turn like that when nobody is piloting it. You need to adjust before the shot, and you need to switch fast so you don't end up crashing.

yeah if u shoot fast enuff, u wont have to deal with the heli turning. after u fire, the chopper turning shouldnt affect u guiding the tv missile.

over time, like sloi and others, (with practice) i'm sure you will actually switch too fast...you/ll get glitches in the helo that no one talks about in forums because very very few players see these glitches in the helo.

over time, like sloi and others, (with practice) i'm sure you will actually switch too fast...you/ll get glitches in the helo that no one talks about in forums because very very few players see these glitches in the helo.

Like the one where you guide from the TV screen and not from on the front of the missile.
Or where it responds to every tiny weenie little mouse click.
Or where it doesn't fire at all, 4 times in a row.
Or it just slams 90 degrees into the ground.

Could go on all day :p

- doesn't reload
- fires a blank
- fires but veers uncontrollably in any direction
- fires but doesn't accept input
- fires but remains in original screen
- fires but screen becomes black or water

... and of course, everyone's favorite:

- fires, controls perfectly... but f*cking goes through the target!

oh...not just me then :p

to combat the chopper turn...if u fly downwards at a target the chopper will just continue forward, straight. Thats a good method to fool tankers into thinking ur not seat switching them and generally i find they dont hop out and run away, cos they sure do when they see that chopper turn right
