I've given up on it since DICE seems to be getting ready for its next big disappointment, but hey there's always a chance they'll actually fix BF2 once and for all.

A thousand code monkey's could not fix some of the problems that have been inherited from 1942, go figure :|:

Pretty much all of these changes are needed, and would make the game a much more enjoyable experience.

I just have a couple of coments. Fixing BF2 does equal more money for EA. The reason it does is simple. Many current players in BF2 feel like I do, and wont buy another EA product, based on the way BF2 is. At my home we run two or three computers, on line, all playing BF2, at times. So there is about (based on money spent for this set up) 200 dollars that EA got for BF2 and wont get again on another game. (I didnt even include the computer upgrades, just the money spent on BF2) EA could change this but who knows if they will.
Infantry only was a big mistake. If I couldnt deal with all the vehicles I would go play another game which is what the I/O guys should do. Gee if you take out all the big and bad vehicles, Aircraft, and artillary whats left? Not BF2 thats for sure. I/O mode is more like pad-field than anything. Spend some time and learn to survive, with all the things BF2 orignally came with. . . . . . . If you can. . . . . . . . . .Red

Sigh, I love stats. I would prefer a refined statement that said, "End Point System"

I love looking at my stats, like Accuracy and KDR to learn how my game playing improves or degrades.

im with you on that, stats are cool, not score, or k/d, just the fact that you can see yourself improving the more you play

Stop crying. It's a game and it has its bugs. Get used to it and stop complaining. You sound like a woman that can't get a orgasm. Go get yourself another man. In fact the man will leave you if you only cry, whine and complain - very simple.
If you don't like the game as it is go play something else.

Same for IO!
If you don't like the mode - play on vehicle servers!
I don't understand why everybody is making such a big thing of it. In the end you can always choose your poison - nobody's forcing you to play the game.
You're only ruining the game for those who like it.

I still think we'll get another patch along with the announcement that it will be the last one.

But I would understand if they won't give us a patch because they kow that you'll be whining again because they did not fix this and that...

And the closing words (again):
It's not EA/Dice that ruins the game, it's not the glitch or bug that make the game unenjoyable. The playersruin the game. The players exploit the glitches, The players whine, The players complain, The players TK, The players spawnkill and so on...
