    Medic

    Basic Rifles:

AK-101- It has good ROF and lots of damage. It is fairly easy to simply dive to the ground and kill someone with it in CQC. In zoomed combat, PLS, use semi-auto. Fire a shot, wait a second, and fire again.

M16A2- In close combat fire a burst jump away and fire another burst. This gun is BEASTLY at long range. Put it on semi-auto and fire off as fast as you can. Recoil and deviation is easily controlled by re-centering your shot.

AK-47- Very powerful gun in CQC. Strafe away from the enemy and shoot. Nothing except a shotgun can outfire this thing in close quarters. At long distance prone, zoom, and place on semi-auto.

L85A1- Spray and PRAY in CQC. This gun is very good at long ranges though. Zoom, set on semi-auto and you have a frigging sniper rifle.

G36E- Fire several quick bursts as you move towards an enemy with this gun. You should not have to evade them much, this gun is so powerful the first shots will kill them. At long range the iron sights are fairly accurate, and you can fire on semi-auto very quickly without worring about too much deviation or recoil.

Nades- I like to throw them at people I just killed. Also use them to clear out areas around someone you want to go and revive.

Paddles- You do NOT need to prone to revive people. If you are out in the open, run to them, crouch, zap them back alive, and sprint away. Only prone if you have plenty of time to stand up again. If you are fighting and a mate gets killed, run over their body. Stop sprinting a meter away and zap'em. The sprint again.

Med Packs- If you find a good spot throw down a med pack or two so you can survive direct fire. Throw them down in frequently traveled areas and around flags. Try not to throw too many down in enemy territory, but if a pack of bad guys is coming throw them all down. This way you can move around picking up health as you fight them.

Minimap- You have to look at the mini map as a medic. The red crosses on a white circle indicate someone calling a medic, and the red circle with a lightning bolt is someone "critically wounded". Constantly glance up at the minimap. Swivel your gun around to scan the area for wounded or dead team mates. Medics get a sense of where enemies are because they can see where people are dying. Use this to your advantage.

When Fighting- The assualt rifles can kick some ***, so do not be afraid to take on a couple of noobs. However: If there is an enemy 100 meters away and a critically wounded team mate 1 meter away... revive your team mate first and try to kill the enemy later. On the same token, do not revive team mates in the middle of a battle. Clear out the guys who are close to you, and then revive your team mate. Strafing and crouching repeatedly with these guns is good against multiple enemies, and a quick dolphin dive is good against one person.

If you are wounded- Always heal yourself! I do not care how little you get hurt, whip out a medic pack and regenerize that health bar DAMN IT!

    Cheers

    Freshening the Medic mix.

Great comments - esp on basic road safety (qv my Medics post).

But can I shout out for all those Medics who're DEAF??? Please pay attention to mates in need. Medic don't mean instant power ups.

Its what happens when you give medics weapons comparable to the Assault class
