The name change thing!

I have used the search until I'm blue in the face and can't find it! How do I change my name and keep my rank? How do I get an old name and keep my rank. I have gone through the recovery at the log on menu when starting the game BUT when I enter a game it still uses my normal tags?

you can only change your name prefix. its located in:

\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\global.con

Or the easier method of changing your name's prefix...

Type it into the "Prefix" box at log in.

Other than that, you need a new account for a different name. So what do you care about more? Your name, or your stats?
