You dont need an attack chopper to kill loads of people. C4 the MEC transport chopper on mashy city, fly straight for a loaded blackhawk taking flags, jump out, wait for the collision and press the detonator.

It is a funny thing to do. You can do it with all sorts. I find tanks quite difficult because i always under estimate the angle of descent into them. And the best thing is, no server can kick me for it. There are rules like: 'no c4 cars' but there is never anything to say no c4 transport choppers.lol

As a dedicated AT player, choppers are my favorites.
We play a cat and mouse like game, it's always fun to bring the beast down (or get my a*s kicked in the process… :p ).
Any moving vehicle is my enemy, but a chopper is the most worthy opponent.
I never run from a good fight.

In the air Cobra is the best.

On the ground MEC is the best. Sharqi can be a bltch if the USA does use the chopper properly.

That chopper should never have been on that map. Any chopper in that map, actually.

Is apache better than mec chopper?

Hard to say really, they're both different

The Hind is massive, so it's a big target for enemy choppers, AT rockets, tanks etc. But it has a very powerful engine, i.e it climbs very well. If you put the throttle on 100%, the chopper will climb, even if you point it towards the ground. The Apache is much smaller, more agile, and more similar to the choppers in vBF2.

Another thing to take into account when flying in SF is:

The pilot usually gets alot more kills than in vanilla, mabye on par with the gunner. I think it's due to a combination of more effective dumb-fires, and altered T.V missles.

the dumbfires in SF are insane, such massive splash damage, and feel so smooth flying out, the wreak havok on infantry.

yes it is, i dont play SF maps much but some guy had me ge ton his account so he could get SF unlocks and i didnt bring down a hind but the rpg is VERY effective against it, usually the warning from an AT rocket will send the pilot into a mad flare scramble and he'll conduct evasive manuvers but the rpg, it's just a big boom and the chopepr runs to repair, i sent it running away 2 times and stopped it from capping a flag.
