Please help me out with lag issues plz

wad up evvery one,maybe you guys can help me out with my lagging in BF2 when i play with vid setting High the lag is redicolus,when i play on low it runs smooth could this be my video card?or the rest of my pc.below are my system specs i know its weak suace but il appriciate it if you guys can recommend some upgrades or tell me if my video card is messed up(bought on ebay recently).Peace!

pentium4 2.6 HT
512mb hp ram
160gb seagate 5200rpm hdd
Nvidia 6800 ultra

its ur ram...for ur setup i recommend at least 1 gig. go for 1.5gigs or 2 gigs if u can

and ur harddrive is also a bit slow, but that shouldnt affect it much once u get more ram.

Yeah, try more ram, but 1 gig would be fine and 2 gig should'nt lagg in high.

Upgrade to 1.5gb or 2gb.

Upgrade your RAM. Your video card is old too, upgrade that one as well.

his video card isnt that old. my system runs bf2 on med/high pretty smoothly. its only in PR that it lags.

Yeah Deff the Ram...the GFX card is an amazing card (6800ultra). I have it and play all HIGH including PR and get 70+ fps all the time with an AMD 64 4000+. Your processor should be fine. My advice, keep everything you have but upgrade to 2gs of Ram. It will be worth it.
