BF2CC Monitor is a simple program that runs in the background alongside BF2CC and monitors the "chat" tab for specific userdefined words and sounds an alert when one is seen. This means that the admin no longer has to actively monitor the chat, and can either step away from the computer or use the computer for something else without fear of missing a request for an admin. BF2CC Monitor allows for different alerts for different events, for greater customizeability for each admin.



This program was written to help out BF2 and 2142 admins. Check out that download link for more information if you are interested. I know this forum is more for players, but I'm having a hard time finding forums specifically for admins. If you know of any place better to post this, please let me know. I hope that some of you find it useful.

will have to try that when i can get CC working again, we run a canadian server and get called alot of things because we are mostly canadian, we rarely ever kick anyone for any reason unless they severely disrespect others but it can be hard to monitor if we miss it. bf2cc keeps freezing on me when i fire it up then go into the game, every single time. probably because i have .net 2.0 and not 1.1, (2.0 is newer and updated) wtf the program won't work with a newer version of the framework, me thinks it needs an update.

Thanks guys. If you know any other admins, or even other forums where I could post this, please let me know. Its kinda hard to spread the word about something like this. Let me know your stories, ideas, anything. I spent WAY too much time making this, so please let me know if it works, if it doesnt, what you want added, fixed, changed, what you like, anything and everything. If there is something you like, let me know, and I'll implement it in further programs, if there is something you dont like, let me know, and I'll avoid it in the future. Feedback is the key to bettering one's work.

I'm not going to lie, this is partially a bump, but mostly a request for 2 things:

1. If you have used this, please let me know what you think, either here or at TTP. My only real payment for the 100+ hours I put into this is feedback! If you sent this to anyone, please send them back here, send them to TTP, or have them send me an email to let me know what they thought, even if its just "cool program" or "I hated it", I would love to see it.

2. Please let me know how I can spread the word about this. If you know of a site where I can post this on the forums, or a place I can submit this as "news", or even (almost preferably) a person's name and email that I can directly contact, I would love to hear it.
