New Love for Support!

I prefer to play I/O most of the time now, so I made an account to play around with support - I absolutely love it! I was a squad leader with my friend as medic and we rocked Karkand with the rest of the team. I don't think anyone ran out of ammo that round. I even checked on secretsofbattlefield.com for any pointers but I was covering them already

I just found the weapons to be awesome and suppressing fire is great fun, I was pretty much holding the bridge by myself as nobody would dare come out, even the snipers - I planned on sampling the M95 but I'm just going to go right ahead and unlock the PKM.

Anyone else feel the same about support? I haven't seen many support players post around the forums but I'm sure you're out there!

too many grenades on IO karkand for me. I like to fight with guns.

i like to play support. especially when you're in a squad. the PKM is a sick gun, definitely a good unlock.

Yeah I played a handful of servers, only one of which I encountered nade spam and it was ridiculous, though I still kept a positive K: D as they were trying to throw nades like 100m down a ramp when I had a clear view. Hmm...

i've never seen nade-spam, now that i think of it... i just haven't had heaps of greandes thrown at me yet, i mostly die from guns and snipers..

The only reason to get the PKM is for if your on US, the MEC RPK is so much better its not even funny. It rocks.

I had an unlocker's remorse when I got a PKM....... that is still I got a taste of it and spawn raped like 20 people in Karkand.

AdamPA: I've noticed that, I had scores of like 42:11 as MEC and when the teams switched I was closer to 26:20, I just can't hit anything with the US support gun... I might as well go ahead and unlock the PKM.

How is the MG-36?

EDIT: If I buy special forces and I've already passed the third rank for the first unlock, will I automatically get the second unlock?

what most people forget is that; BF2 is a tactical shooter and i don't think that grenades, however much they look like bullets :-s count as guns !! karkand is bullcrud annoying with the nade spammers, you can never hear guns and my computer always exxagurates the blurs hat you get from nades so its worse for me (low graphics)

-the MG36 is OK, but stick with the PKM if you use it in bursts, or like any support, it goes wild
