Flickery Screen

I Have just installed bf2 on my computer and when i click into it it goes to the bf2 centre screen thing then it turns black , flickers a couple of times, then turns off. Can anyone help me please?

EDIT: I am upgrading it but it is a nvidia geforce 440 64mb ram and I have instalkled the latest drivers

I'm pretty sure that card is unsupported by BF2. It doesn't meet the minimum system requirements.
