problem with ranking for sergeant

Has anyone had a problem with achieving first sergeant rank after master sergeant? According to this website, I have over 20,000 globals and the basic combat badges, but I'm still not getting promoted.

Anyone know why? The only two badges I don't have right now are aviator/pilot one and the ground defense one. Those aren't supposed to be needed for first sergeant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you need to get the combat badge before 20k,,

I'm not following you. I've got all 9 combat badges right now. The only two badges I DON'T have at all are:

1. ground defense (which I don't get how to get it by the way) what's a TOW anyways?

2. basic aviator badge

But those two are not on the list on this website for requirements to have first sergeant status. My global score is around 25,000 now. I've GOT the following combat badges (with level):

Veteran knife
Veteran pistol
Veteran Spec Ops combat
Veteran Assault combat
Veteran Medic combat
Veteran Support combat
Basic Engineer combat
Basic Sniper combat
Basic anti-tank combat

So what am I missing here? Your help is appreciated.

You've missed the chance to get 1st Serg, better luck working towards Serg Major.

Why did I miss out? Didn't have something BEFORE 20,000? Does that mean I need to have the pre-reqs done before sergeant major level of global points?

Can I ask one more thing? Any advice on getting the aviator and ground defense badges? I've spent a ton of time in a plane on wake island, and I've spent quite a bit of time in missile launchers on the ground on wake as well. Obviously, I'm not doing something quite right.

By the way, what server do you usually play on? I'm looking to hook up with some good players in combat. It's more fun that way!

getting the ground defence badges are easier to sit on a tow as commander,

no idea on planes i dont exactly have alot of air time.

i stick to a few EA UK servers
